House rules

Last updated : May 2026

These rules ensure a peaceful stay for everyone, with respect for the property, the guests, and the neighbours. Reading them is required before booking.

The number of people actually staying at the property may not exceed the number declared at booking, nor the maximum capacity (12 guests for OceanView Ndayane, 10 guests for PalmView Saly).

Any undeclared additional guest will be charged separately and may result in the termination of the stay without refund.

Check-in from 3:00 PM. Check-out before 12:00 PM.

Flexible timing can be arranged on request, subject to availability, with the concierge at least 48h in advance.

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Music, loud conversations, and noisy activities must be kept down during this period.

Parties, private events, weddings, birthday gatherings of more than 20 people, and any form of gathering not declared at booking are strictly forbidden, no exception.

The private pool is accessible 24/7 with no lifeguard. Children under 12 must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.

Diving, running around the pool, and using glass items near the water are not permitted. Drinking alcohol while swimming is strongly discouraged.

The Atlantic Ocean has strong currents. Swimming in the sea is at your own risk. The concierge can advise on the safest spots and times.

The property is strictly non-smoking indoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors only, with cigarette butts disposed of in the provided ashtrays.

Any indoor smoke residue or lingering smell will result in a deduction from the security deposit for deep cleaning.

Pets are not allowed on the property unless prior written approval has been obtained from the concierge.

Daytime visitors (lunch, drinks) are allowed until 10 PM, within reasonable limits for the neighbours. Anyone staying overnight must be declared and counted in the booking capacity.

The property is provided clean and fully equipped. Please keep it in reasonable condition during your stay. Daily or interim housekeeping can be arranged on request for an additional fee.

On departure, dishes should be washed or loaded in the dishwasher, and rubbish placed in the dedicated bins.

Any damage to the property or equipment during the stay must be reported to the concierge immediately. A security deposit may be requested on arrival depending on the case.

Repair or replacement costs will be billed at actual cost, deducted from the deposit or invoiced separately if the deposit is insufficient.

Water is a precious resource in Senegal. Please turn off air conditioning, lights, and taps when leaving rooms. Take short showers and reuse towels over multiple days.

When leaving the property, please close all doors and windows and arm the alarm system if the property has one. A caretaker is on site 24/7.

Lost keys will be charged the cost of replacing the affected locks.

The BlueHorizons concierge is available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any question or emergency during your stay. In case of medical emergency, call 1515 (Senegal medical emergency line).

Booking a BlueHorizons property entails full acceptance of these house rules, which supplement the Terms & Conditions.

In case of repeated or serious breach of the rules above, BlueHorizons Homes reserves the right to terminate the stay without refund.
